It is grey out and looks a bit breezy . It's not raining at the moment but it is damp out .

I didn't like driving in the centre of Bristol in the dark. It was literally dark despite the street lights . Street lights don't seem to light the ground , they just seem to be more like Christmas tree lights made to make the place look pretty . People on electric scooters everywhere wearing dark clothing and no helmets and hardly any lights if any. How are you supposed to see them when they are in stealth mode lights if any at ground level and clothing to blend in with the darkness?

Radio 4's Farming Today programme played a Texel sheep going baa this morning. Except it went Umm-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-eh. So I'm not convinced that it did go baa at all.

Garden birds have been fed and first arrival was a blackbird closely followed by a magpie

I've just had a second Windows update. The previous one lasted 24 hours.

I left my mini W10 laptop on over night updating. Have found often when there are a number of updates to install one gets skipped so this morning re-ran Windows Update and there was an AntiVirus one to install.

Flipping windy. A wood pigeon is somehow clinging to a fence.

It's now bright enough in the morning to shave without needing the bathroom light.

I might treat myself to something nice with the money I saved on electric!
