I have managed to pick up a cold. It must have been while I was on the bus. Almost paracetamol levels of discombobulation but I'll hold off for the moment.

Checked battery voltage this afternoon and it’s increased since I last checked. Car actually gets a run tomorrow as I have an audax event. I’ll check rested battery voltage on Sunday, then check a few days later but so far so good.

Battery voltage this morning is 12.39V after yesterday’s run and back to audax. Which according to charts is about 80% charged. Solar trickle charger plugged back in and I’ll check battery voltage on Wed.

On line food delivery came 15 minutes early good job we got up early.
Right rest of the day can continue now what ever is planned

What make is it ? Mine is the Onyx version . I will try to make the front struts for the front suspension out of thin brass tubing squashed to make the airfoil section . The present plastic ones are broken and some are missing. I may have to fabricate some rear wheels unless I can find some on the net . Mine has the block transfers or some of them. For some reason a previous owner went over them with thinners and made a right mess. I thought I might try photographing some of the remaining transfers and print some off on some transfer material.

Mine is the Paul's Model Art FW18 from 1996 (apologies for the dust, but I have it on open display)

I have so much to do today but instead am sat on the sofa in the sun with a coffee. I have however cleaned and lubed the bike chain on the Marin, long overdue.

Walked to Lidl to get some shopping. Glorious sunny morning, people wearing shorts and T shirts, and a couple of convertibles with the top down making the most of the sunshine ☀️

Got some Asics Mo. I was looking for the GT 1000 that she really gets on with and discovered that Asics have an outlet store which had them at an excellent price. I got a pair of the same model in a children's size as well for our granddaughter. I then saw a pair of Gel Cumulus in my size at a good price so ordered them.
The laces are elasticated with a toggle hence the instructions.
Mrs Tenkaykev pointed out that what I'd ordered were women's shoes ( I suppose the colour scheme of "Powder Blue with Pink Rave " should have clued me in, but they fit really well)
