Dry here but it looks damp.

Morning .
It is grey looking and a bit damp out . It was nice and sunny and dry yesterday . It was so nice that we went to Lacock Abbey to walk around the gardens to look at the snowdrops and crocuses. They looked really pretty .
In the evening there was a get together for the Men's Shed . We played skittles .

This morning's perambulation certainly blew away the cobwebs (and some wheelie bins and roadworks barriers).

Listening to a piece on the radio about clean air zones. Think I'm missing something don't we all need the air to be clean we all share it?
What good is having a no fine clean air zone ?

It's bed stripping day. Also, as mentioned in Post #139,950 it's mattress up-ending day so I can put the base clips back in situ.

I'm sure @Gwylan will be reassured that this task has been completed!

Morning all. I really should get going as I need to retrieve the recycling bin from where ever it's been left having been emptied and have breakfast. I'm off to Cambridge on the train shortly and will be having a bicycle bimble in the area to the north west for a few hours.

Same here. I spent much of my riverside trail walk throwing twigs and little branches off the path.

It's bed stripping day. Also, as mentioned in Post #139,950 it's mattress up-ending day so I can put the base clips back in situ.

I'm sure @Gwylan will be reassured that this task has been completed!

Bane of my life. Bed changing Tuesday is a burr to my simple life.
But it's compounded when it is decreed that it is also the quarterly mattress turning day.
That's decided by the Head of Domestic Services Delivery.
And tomorrow will be Shrove Tuesday. Have a pop-up pancake event to engineer.
Oh now I am informed that tomorrow will be a towel changing day. It's all too much!

I've attempted to outwit The Force and did the mattress turning as a flourish to the up-ending..

All this bed activity is making me feel tired. I'm just going to lie in it.

...after a sausage sandwich, that is. An unexpected craving while I was out buying medicines - the ones I had were all out of date.

Bed changing day is today, I've stripped the beds and will make them this afternoon.

That would not be in line with standing instructions. Beds have to be remade immediately in line with local specification. Straight sheets, covers, neat, pillows plumped, sleeping attire stowed and all signs of previous occupation removed.

I have even had the bed being remade around me whilst I savour that special comfort that a warm bed affords.
