Good morning folks,
Two deliveries today each from a different carrier. Then I'll cycle down to the train station to collect tickets from the machine ( must remember to take the code ) I'm planning on visiting Big Tesco on the way home to pick up a couple of things, I'll put the Brommie in " Shopping Cart Mode " to check out the rack I fitted.
We're out to the pub this evening, a friend from the running club plays in a band and they have a gig at our local tonight. They go on at 8:00, I'll try to stay awake for the whole of their set 🎶

Damp here. Need to make a milkshake run later as I was thwarted last week by a closed road due to some pesky half marathon runners.

How do they run half a marathon? Every other pace or something.

Good morning all. Yet another cool and grey morning here in Suffolkshire - Monday's sunshine & warmth seems to be a distant memory. Last night for the second time in a row I forgot to go to bed before falling asleep!

I'm not sure if this headline could have been written better - from my local newspaper's website this morning

always so exciting

Have networked printers. These are shared amongst several users. One user refuses to grap that staring a print job on the printer at my station and turning your computer off does not work.
The printer just goes into hibernation until the machine restarts.
Other print jobs sent to that printer join a print queue.
Then colleagues wander in looking for their printing. I explain. They don't believe me and resend the print job.

Said colleague returns and switches on machine - I get deluged with the backed up printing.
Should have to get a licence to let her breed.

An email landed in my inbox asking me to confirm my Snapchat account. I hadn’t signed up for it. First went independently to browser to check link was valid Snapchat domain. I then cancelled the sign up removing my email. I then wondered what Snapchat actually was. There’s nothing on their overview page that actually says what Snapchat is. I must be getting old expecting a quick overview on the overview page.

In my experience, printers are the most misused/badly used piece of kit in an office. No one ever knows how to load them with paper & if a fault occurs ,,,,

Mild-ish and occasionally sunny here chez Casa Reynard after a decidedly chilly start.

I slept well, but had a very strange dream about celeriac soup. No, I don't know what to make of it either. Anyways, laundry day here today. Main load is on the go, then I have two items that need washing separately - one is a woollen arran-knit jacket belonging to the parental unit, and the other are my gardening jeans. The latter are more than just a bit grubby...

Have also re-jigged the fridges in the kitchen and utility room, sorted out some ingredients for supper and re-filled the fruit bowls.

A stock car programme that I ordered on the back of the dates in those newspaper articles has turned up. It covers one of the meetings mentioned and I do hope that there is something useful in there - will have a look at it later. I also have the March 1984 issue of Wheelspin in transit.

It is almost time for luncheon.
