Checked my car battery on Wed and this afternoon. I drove last Saturday and checked voltage Sunday morning. The Sunday morning voltage was higher than Wed and today. But I’ve read something about rested voltage and waiting 24 hrs after driving (or charging) I hadn’t. The voltage Wed and today are the same and looks like it’s the rested voltage and above 12V. Seems the solar panel trickle charger is working and maintaining charge. Car will now only go places with a purpose more than just keeping battery charged. Should get money back on cost of Solar charger within a few months 👍

That's good to know - my 4.8w charger was delivered on Wednesday, but I've not put it in the car yet. It's now 21 days since I last used the car and fairly sunny (apart from the past few days) so I hope the old 2.4w one has been supplying enough charge.

I could get my first fix of live motorsport for 2023 this weekend as the Classic Sports Car Club are putting on a meeting on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on Sunday. Having looked at the BBC's weather forecast, I think I'll forego the hypothermia and watch it on the Youtube live stream.

I did put yeast in. Gives the pancakes more "body" as a vehicle for sultanas, but it doesn't make them fluffy. If you want fluffy ones, then you've got to use baking powder.

And yes, it was the instant dried yeast that you don't have to pre-activate.
