Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with gammon & mustard and one with cheddar, plus a banana, a tangerine and two :cuppa:

There was a snow shower while I was eating.

Went out to drop off mum's prescription at the quack, and then, as the sky had cleared and it ended up being a nice (if chilly) afternoon, I tootled out into the garden with some secateurs and the telescopic loppers and made another dent in the crazy tangle that's the fallen pine and smashed cherry. I can now get the chainsaw in to remove a few sections. It's a bit like one of those wire puzzled that you need to think carefully how to manipulate the bits so that they come apart. Also did the prep for tonight's supper.

Now sat by the fire with a :cuppa:

Mostly a nice sunny day but still very cold.
Went to one of my favourite lookout points by car and it looked like snow from the bend in the Sound heading eastwards where we were the first scubies on the wreck of the MV Shuna which sank in the early 1900’s.
This often happens and we are completely snow free in this NE corner of the island but east and north there looks to be snow on the mountains of Rum and the higher mountains further south on Mull.
Had to hang around for a bit while the bourach of my medicine reorder got sorted out. I ended up with some meds I did not request but they will eventually get used.
The pharmacy is closed until Monday and one of the girls told me the shop was chaos as inundated with people wanting last minute items.
Looking out my front window there is a fair sized cargo boat heading north very slowly which appears to have a rigid flat bed lorry parked on the open deck. Unusual.

My niece arrived on flight WS018 on Friday and brought sunshine to Terminal 3. My nephew arrived on flight WS018 yesterday and brought rain. Today my brother arrived on flight WS018 and brought sleet. They're not using WS018 again till mid-May so we're going to have to make our own weather until then.
