Happy birthday to Mrs @rockyroller . @Reynard did you have a cake day recently too? Happy belated birthday if so 🎂

Snow here today, school bus was cancelled but is doing the return run now the snow is easing a bit. I am trying to declutter a bit (aka kick off the Brompton saving fund) so have been scanning books into a couple of apps to see what’s worth selling. There’s potentially about £70 worth so far.

Postman got roped in today to help at Pantry.A sort of food bank.They were short staffed so Mrs P put me down for a shift.Guests pay £4-50 but get £15-£20 worth of food.They have got to meet a criteria ,wow they were so grateful.It pulls you up short when you can buy without worrying.We have some chocolate advent calendars which are going out of date,for a treat they were given one at no cost to themselves,Just a little gift but they were so grateful.I have read about food banks but never been on the front line till this morning,its humbling.

Right, 3 hours to go... Better start getting ready, have a wash, a shave, shower, etc, get my clothes sorted out and get that stabilizer sorted out for it's debut... And then relax and wait to be picked up.

... Or... I could make another cup of tea and leave it all to the last second as always.

I nearly trapped my finger in a bicycle chain today.

I've done that twice on fixed wheel systems, not good but I still have a full set of fingers and thumbs.

well done @postman we try and regularly do a shop of essentials and drop it off with our local food bank and the staff are always very pleased about it

E bay schme bay,I bought some bird seed to help the little creatures outside during this cold spell.Now ebay want some feedback too late its all been eaten.
