Ooh! That sounds exciting!
Will they have a recorded commentary?

Maybe, but it won't be very loud because they've all stepped back from the mike. (Though, Lineker hasn't stepped back at all, the BBC stepped him back.)

Strava sillyness on steps taken on a walk continues, 2.48 miles this pm (a corner shop for a print in store return of used coffee machine pods and the Co-op) was apparently 2064 steps whereas yesterdays walks to Toolstation were 1554 steps for 2.96 miles back via the Co-op and 1380 steps for 3.02 miles back via a fruitless visit to B&Q.
The light tube issue was resolved by one from Screwfix which actually clicked into place unlike the Toolstation ones.
The bike shed temperature sensor issue traced to it somehow getting wet, presume the wind had blown a snow flake through the tiniest of a gap at the exact height.

A mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, though it's now clouded over. Was a cold one overnight, but I don't know what it's like outside as I haven't been outside.

I slept really well - once I fell asleep that was. Took me a while as the two paracetamol that I threw down the hatch just prior made me feel a bit queasy. But I have slept in (oh, I enjoyed that), but while I slept, the whole Gary Lineker thing seems to have gone bananas.

I agree with Gary and all the other presenters who have walked out. The BBC would have had a point if he'd said something inappropriate on air, but it wasn't inappropriate - merely an inconvenient and uncomfortable truth that the upper-ups don't want to hear. IMHO the Beeb haven't got a leg to stand on, especially given that the chairman was given the job just days after he facilitated an £800,000 personal loan to the then prime minister.

In better news, I don't know if I mentioned, but the girls bulk order of Gourmet Gold cans has turned up.

Had a lovely luncheon of pate on toast, a tangerine, an apple and two :cuppa:

Now just chilling by the fire in the company of Madam Poppy.

Good job we have rugby commentators

Given the current score, maybe it's better if we didn't...

Clouded over a bit and rain threatening. Wind has also changed both in strength and direction and now SW.
Sunny when I was out earlier and surprised to encounter a lot of fast moving traffic. Not cars I recognised but certainly not driven by touroid judging by speed.
Turns out there is a classic car rally but no classic cars to be seen but support cars probably account for the traffic and speed. Usually when we get small convoys of vehicles it is ferry traffic inbound.
On a bike it is best just to stop somewhere convenient and wait for a bit to let them all past and continue in relative peace. Nothing is as peaceful as it used to be and there is far too much traffic for the roads here which drove the cycling club mostly off road which was good. I cycled to bits of Mull I would never have seen otherwise and others admitted the same. We even built our own trails with Forestry permission and the club had keys to the locked gates for access in case of emergency.
The birds watchers [or bird organisation of your choice] were not happy as we could have seen a sea eagle without paying them.
