AA Car Sales!
My brother recently bought a car which was at a garage advertised through them. It has developed a fault with the Sat Nav, audio system and parking sensors . He called the chap who sold it to him and was told that he would have to claim off the warranty. I looked on the AA site and it gives a list of what their standards are and customers rights . It stated that it is the sellers responsibility to carry out the repairs within 6 months of purchase . It also says that their team can step in to resolve any issues. If it was me I would be right on to Trading Standards ! I tried to find a phone number for the AA customer services. A right game of going round automated services. In the end I just picked a number and spoke to a human . I quizzed her for a phone number which she gave me . I rang them . They don't work weekends!
I wish there was a Wikileaks which gave out director's personal phone numbers and addresses!
Any use?

A bitsas super tonight consisting of the last of the frittata, some rice and some roasted butternut squash. Went down nicely with a splash of soy sauce on it. And then had a couple of tangerines to finish off.

Model making mess has once again spread to the 'dining table'. I don't know why I even bother to dignify it with this name.

Ah. I'm familiar with *THAT* one

Put a clean tablecloth on mine earlier, and the amount of art stuff and archive stuff that I had to ship off onto the floor before I could do that was a bit nuts. OTOH the parental didn't bat an eyelid, because her crochet and lace making stuff is all over the sitting room. Tit for tat, I guess...

Another bright day so far but a bit of hoar frost which we have not seen for a long time here.
Some mince and assorted bits and pieces simmering on the stove, washing machine has done it's stuff.
I thought it might be a good idea to check the washing machine water filter but the thing seems to have stuck. Considering that one of the plastic nuts holding the toilet seat has just broken this morning I thought best to not force the filter. It would probably break and leave me with a serious problem.
I probably do have spare bits to fix the toilet seat somewhere if I could find them. Been chucking stuff out recently so the relevant bits are bound to have gone.
Lost about a kilo in weight this past week for no apparent reason. I weigh myself once a week and it has always been reasonably steady with a tendency to rise if not watched.

Something jammed under the scales ?

A little over two hours easy riding today. Got a puncture, which I patched in the sun. Warmth has come back after a rather wet cold week.

Two and a half hours out & about for me in the end. No puncture, no real warmth but the sunshine & dry conditions were most welcome.

Had a non cycling equivalent of the bonk today
Noticed my heartrate was up this afternoon, havnt eaten too much today, a little busy. Laid on the sofa to watch TV while my wife went for a bath.,.and it dawned on me, I was feeling like I'd physically 'crashed', no energy, just felt carp for an hour.
It passed, fell asleep for maybe half an hour, all seems OK now. Slightly weird,
