Showery day in prospect I think.
I need a dry spell to get the ICE trike out of the car and up to my top shed without getting it wet. The seat is staying in my house meantime since I am afraid of mice taking a fancy to the fabric. The little b,s can do immense damage very quickly.
Don't want to trap them as they will be off when the weather improves. Poison is easiest but it also poisons the neighbours cats.
Calmac is getting shouted at again on FB by lots of people who have had to travel the nearly 80 miles to Oban and then the same back for hospital appointments. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful but the system is against them.
To add to the joy the Corran ferry was broken down which would add another 30 miles at least each way.
I always thought this was a dangerous road with traffic racing both ways on single track roads to make the next ferry. Never had any incidents myself but I will admit to pushing the boundaries a bit sometimes in the past when on business. The courier vans sometimes used this road to Oban if they were not able to make the short crossing Craignure to Oban. Woe betide you if you hampered Alistair Lightning Stevenson. He lives live generally at double the speed of everyone else.
