I was round your neck of the woods yesterday,@Reynard when we got passed by a gorgeous Lotus 11 in British Racing Green. I was driving in fairly heavy traffic so I couldn't get a proper look at the details but my brother told me it had Le Mans and a year painted on the side. Not sure of the exact year but it must have been late 50s. I thought about you as it headed east on the A14.

I saw a lovely Fiat Dino coupé yesterday on the M4 near Bristol . It was in a lovely blue metallic . They are pretty rare I think I have only ever seen 2.

Feeling a bit honoured! Georgie has come up on to our bed to join us. Been away for a few days and have missed him .

I had forgotten about double top tubes. My pal had one which was an ex police bike and we toured most of Scotland with him on that and me with a Flying Scot.

Pouring rain and likely to continue all day.
Got some indoor chores to attend to but need to go out to the library.
I wonder if the village of Dervaig will get any post as the van has been broken down for a couple of days with an electrical fault.
Post Office seem unable to get them another van.
Anyone who is expecting an urgent mail delivery can travel the 10 miles each way to Tobermory and collect their mail.
Lots of volunteers to help out but they run into possible insurance problems.The only likely legal one is a local Evri delivery man and van.

Good morning all. The first coffee of the day was also the penultimate one from the rather large stock of Lidl's cheap stuff I'd built up from when they used to have their weekend specials, so I'm actually going to have to go out and buy some more today. That will have to wait until later as it's yet again so I may do a bit of bike chain cleaning while waiting for it to stop.

My son got made redundant this week - they've been shifting servers over to the cloud, which has meant a number of them are now out of a job. The company van has gone, so I've put him back on the Aygo insurance as his car needs a clutch (too many track days). He was up before 7am and off to see friends near Birmingham in the Aygo. Why can't he get up like that for work ?
