Almost a coffee disaster in the house. The Dolce Gusto has started 'piddling' water all over the place. Thought it was a dodgy batch of pods, but it turns out the capsule holder has a tiny tear on the upper rubber seal, so hisses water out under pressure. New 'holder' ordered. Will just have to make do with the stove top pot for a few days !

Just been out to pick up my meds. at the pharmacy.
The surgery have got it wrong again and sent down a prescription for stuff I do not currently need and since I keep a written record I know the fault is not mine.
Probably somebody who cannot understand our accents as this was on the phone order line.
They do not seem to have Receptionists any more either but Patient Facilitators as there is an advert in the chemist window.
Mislaid a vital pair of specs so will need to get back out in the rain and check my top shed tho’ I am pretty sure I last used them in the car. They are not in any usual place in either house or car as both have been searched.

That reminds me - I need to reorder my meds.

Mild, squelchy and damp here chez Casa Reynard.

I did not sleep well again, and I feel like a right pile of poo. Probably down to feeling really frustrated after last night. The seller of the memorabilia sent me offers on the four pieces I was after, which turned them from ouch to only slightly less ouch. So accepted the offers (it's still $134 or £110). Went to pay, and the system keeps rejecting my card - absolutely no idea why.

So I'm now stuck with an order that I need to pay for, and no means of paying for it.

Card is fine, because I bought some magazines the other day, and cat litter and cat food from Zooplus. There are more than enough funds in my account. From what I've read up, I suspect the payment algorithm has decided that it simply does not like the transaction because it's an outlier from my usual Ebay business. Most of what I buy is a few quid here and a few quid there, almost exclusively from UK sellers. This guy is in Latvia.

So I'm tired, frustrated and fed up. Any my mailer is not letting me in for some reason either. Not a good morning.

Anyways, it is time for luncheon.

My debit card is currently locked following it being used in America to buy items for £100 pounds. Santander had tried to contact me to advise of a suspicious purchase on line.Apparently my card had been cloned as they had the security code

Money has been refunded.I was talking about this with my son in law who knows quite a bit about computer security.Apparently it is easy to obtain a cloned card for a price and if required for an extra payment the security number can be provided

They had made two attempts which had failed Third time lucky.

Edit the card was used in this country First two attempts was to a company in England the third successful attempt was too a company in America

I only use my card for online transactions. Everything else gets paid for in cash.

At least the seller has now cancelled the order thank goodness, so that's one headache less. Although I've now lost the 30% discount voucher, which is immensely frustrating. I'll have to go back to being naughty and making prints from the high res scans I was sent. At least I will have the photos in the archive, but the real interest was the information both stuck and stamped onto the back.

In part, I blame Brexit, because I have had successful dealings with this seller before, albeit not recently.
