Light rain and a moderate breeze we are told for today. Looks about right but not currently raining.

Apparently a notice has appeared in our local Aros Park as in the mainland one I mentioned yesterday regarding parking.
£1 per hour or £3 for the whole day and you have to download an app to your smartphone to pay. This assumes you have a smart phone and also that you can get a signal which is a bit patchy.
Opposition is getting organised and when that happens drastic action often follows.
This is a popular walking area and we used to use it regularly tho' we mostly walked from work or home. The park was an estate and was gifted to the community a long time ago but was taken over by the Forestry.
It has not escaped notice either that the date of April 1st for the start of this may have some significance.

I think I may stir things up a bit by suggesting an entrance fee to get into the town.

Same here but not sure where to start, I am tempted to try and sell the whole lot in one go but there's sooooooo much, I jokingly call it my retirement project so another 9 years yet .

I've a pile of retro/vintage parts to go through, along with loads of old wheels, which will be done in the next few weeks. These aren't my retirement project as that's a separate thing, although I hope to be retiring before you do, but a need to gain some space.

Turns out having TT bikes, track bikes, hillclimb bikes, grasstrack bikes, race bikes, training bikes, winter bikes, etc. etc. plus associated bits takes up an awful lot of room. And the additional storage I borrow is only usually available over the winter unfortunately.

There is a lovely new arrival here at Hundred Acre Wood. Some peeps have disagreed and say that he is a bit of a knit.
