SWMBO and myself have had that conversation about my Mum, now her Oesopagheal cancer has really taken hold. Apart from slowly starving to death it's meant she's now confused and forgetful.

She's always been the 'sensible head' in the family. SWMBO thinks I've now got to be the sensible voice. As if that'll work!
what are we? grownups? yeesh!

sympathies for your Mom's condition. hang in there

oh fun! for a while, about 20 yrs ago, when my kids were little I got back into a childhood hobby (never serious). had 3 simultaneous working rail lines. 2 ovals & 1 figure 8. it was so much fun trying to crank all 3 up & keep them all on the tracks at the same time. a little noisy but good times. I trust your setup is not as messy as mine was. I can see that I kept the table set up for years after the kids moved on to larger bikes, haha. still have that little blue cooler from when Wifey & I were just dating over 32 years ago

Had a lovely luncheon of a chicken & avocado sandwich, an apple, a Lane Late orange and two :cuppa:

The rest of the chicken has gone into the spicy tomato sauce.

Spent the afternoon writing. Am having fun with an antagonist - a high-flying but very self-centred racing driver, short, not terribly good-looking, but who happens to be a notorious womanizer with a talent for nasty put-downs. One of my other characters describes him as having "a nose like a potato, ears like the handles on the FA Cup and hands like Hugh Heffner."

Now sat enjoying a :cuppa: and a two finger kit kat.
