I'm sat 55 minutes into a 2-hour online feedback session. The online meeting room has been very quiet. Eerily so. It's me, myself and I.

In contrast the 2-hour face-to-face session yesterday was busy, and lasted 2 1/2 hours in the end. I've another face-to-face session on Monday.

As I've got to 'sit' here for the next hour and 5 minutes, what should I do instead to keep myself occupied? Suggestions please. Decent ones as I'm on camera ...

I always used to play patience on my phone in meetings.

I'm finished work for the week, just in time for the torrential rain to start.

Typically, it had been blues skies and sunshine right up until about ten minutes before I finished up.

A mild, bright and breezy day here chez Casa Reynard. So far, we've avoided the forecast showers, but I'm not holding my breath.

Slept really well. Spent the morning catching up on those little inconsequential things that need doing; e-mails, paperwork, finding some cardboard for the parental unit...

I shall be heading out to Tesco this afternoon on a mission to buy a new kettle, and the remainder of the day will be devoted to writing and working on the archive.

Today's "watch du jour" is my mid-60s Kelek hand-winder. It could do with a new strap, however.

It is almost time for luncheon.

A lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with pepperoni, the other with cream cheese, plus an apple, a Lane Late orange, some sliced avocado on crackers and two

Am about to tootle off to Tesco. And of course, the sky has gone ominously dark...

so glad to have a car dealer, in my town, a 15 minute walk from home, that I like & trust w/ low mileage cars at fair prices

I wrote my check & we'll swap cars & sign papers later today

I missed a photo opportunity but for reasons unknown, a grey squirrel ran along the bonnet and roof of my neighbour's Audi TT. No idea why it would go there.

Another working week draws to a close and it's the weekend now .

I've just found a Christmas card in a padded envelope being re-used to send an eBay sale out. I'd ordered a book for my father of local walks to him, to encourage him to get out and about whilst my Mum's ill and afterwards. The author had included a Christmas card.

Now ... is that an 'early' Christmas card.

Or a 'late' one because I didn't check the contents of the envelope properly?

I can top that i've still not found a Christmas present I bought Mrs 73 last Christmas. The other things with it I found in time just not this one.
