There is a number puzzle involving sequences on facebook that seems to be driving a lot of people crazy.

1+4 = 5
2+5 = 12
3+6 = 21
5+8 = ?

I don't think it's that hard, but what do the mundaners think?

I notice now a few have got in front of me with the answer. Should read on before replying in future.

I ventured to the beach for a perambulation as it was such a nice evening.

I think I am finally recovered enough from this 🤬 cold to venture out on the bike this weekend.:bicycle:

We're heading to the Canaries next month for a 5-day quick break and have a 23kg luggage allowance each. For five days! SWMBO's suggesting we stick everything in one suitcase. But she doesn't know I'm planning to hire a bike for a day or so whilst out there

Why don't you leave your extra stuff in our unused suitcase and we'll drop it off whilst passing over Amsterdam?

Cabin bags look great. Can be wheeled and have built in back pack straps - they will do for Amsterdam. Pack light, wear everything else !

The answer is 45 - only @rockyroller has got it right.

The rest of you are all missing out one step in the sequence, jumping straight from 3+6 to 5+8, and omitting 4+7

I had one of those 'Oh Sh**' moments this morning when I had a quick look at next month's calendar as I knew there was a family member's birthday in the first week, but couldn't remember whose it was. Further down the page was a note of a midweek gig in Nottingham I'd booked months ago and I realised I'd not booked the time off work as I'd meant to do it at the start of the new leave year in March but totally forgot. Cue one quick phone call to the office to get mnagement to add it to the duty roster.

Anyhow, another mostly cloudy and very blustery day with occasional showers in this corner of Suffolk. A nice & slow morning of doing nothing at all except listen to the radio and make out a shopping list for Friday. I did go out on the bike and battled the wind for a couple of hours when it looked to be dry, but still got caught out by a rogue shower. The reward was a very nice grilled chicken breast, baby potatoes & peas for tea.
