A lovely sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, but it's a mite chilly in the wind.
Slept well for once, and had a little bit of a lie in. Anyways, I've been busy. Laundry done (items that can't go in with the general wash) and now hanging outside to dry in the sun, a pot of cauliflower soup made, plus all the winter insulation taken off the outside tap and all the outdoor planters watered. Madam Lexi has spent the entire morning outside. Madam Poppy prefers the comfort of her armchair.
Will be going into town later this afternoon. Noticed last week that Aldi's compost is a couple of quid a bag cheaper than Wilko, so will pick up two or three bags in preparation for maintaining a tomato colony over the summer. Also want to go to Tesco to clear the shopping list - it's largely toiletries, cleaning products and cupboard staples that need replacing. Might as well get that out of the way, then I don't need to think about it on Saturday, and can simply concentrate on the yellow sticker bunfight.
I have some premium bonds, but never had anything back off them at all.
Today's watch du jour is a mid 1960s c-cased Girrard Perregaux gyromatic.
Anyways it is time for luncheon.
