Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
After 30 minutes on the hotel gym's spin bike in an un-cooled hotel gym I've declared myself "well again". As a result I've hired a bike for tomorrow to go on a 56km ride to the lighthouse on Fuertaventura's south-western tip.

56km after being ill = OK-ish

But apparently it's also 3200m of climbing = oh!

I vaguely remember from a Xmas in Fuerteventura, no bikes involved, that parts of the island are lumpy.

What are using to access Cyclechat with ? Never had a problem with Chrome on my mobile.

On an iPhone probably Safari but no real idea. Not that technically savvy. So long as it works it is ok but malfunctions are beyond me.
This is a new manifestation as it was ok last week but this is not my home server being used tho’ thr ancient ipad seems normal.

I have visited Fuerteventura briefly, but did not leave the aircraft.

I had been on holiday in Lanzarote which was lovely. The second part of the week was extremely windy, and then turned even windier. So the aircraft could not take off loaded with enough fuel to make it back to UK. It was decided to start the flight with much less fuel than normal and reload at Feurteventura.

We saw a lot of the island from the air.

Shoes collected from the cobbler. Umbrella required.

After I got home it mysteriously stopped raining the second I stepped inside!

I used to live near Gloucester, and took some shoes in for repair at a Cobbler's. On the second visit I realised how close I was to the home of Fred West.

For the benefit of our foreign correspondents, Fred West was a serial killer, and many bodies were found buried in the garden of his house.

Had a lovely luncheon of Filet Americain on wholemeal toast, a pear, some strawberries, some blueberries and two :cuppa:

Sorted out all the fruit & veg I bought over the weekend, removing packaging and stuff. Also sorted out all the ingredients for tonight's supper. Looking forward to that.

Have almost finished writing the research article I've been working on, although I am still waiting on a few bits of information. I also need to get in touch with a stock car historian that a friend has given me the contact details for in the hope that he has sets of results that are more complete than the ones published in Wheelspin.

Just enjoyed a nice :cuppa: and now need to quickly stock up on some firewood for this evening.

We are expecting Royal Mail tomorrow, two packets they had better knock. No leaving these in a safe place,ie outside our neighbours back window,it has been very wet here today. One of these items is a set of headphones £129-99 for Mrs P.Get them damaged and a P45 might just be suggested.
