I'm eating breakfast in bed and hoping the weather forecast is wrong. I can see the clouds building up though.

Cloudy day but no rain forecast. Still that strong NE wind tho'.
Catastrophic fire at a garage business in Fionnphort. They are the only recovery people on Mull and sometimes I have met them on the ferry taking broken down cars off for tourists. One was a VW camper van brand new and got 2 miles on Mull before having to go back to the main agents to get some problem fixed.
They were the only people who could do an MOT on my motorhome due to the width as all the other places were designed for cars. This meant a 60 mile each way trip in November.
Watched the lambs in the field racing around as lambs do.
Did remind me of a neighbours young children who do much the same.

30 damp in places miles but much needed and enjoyed.
Garden birds have been fed and first arrival today was a pigeon.

Good morning all. It was damp but bright & sunny earlier, but I'm now looking out of the window at the rain again. First cuppa of the day has been downed and I think a bowl of supermarket own brand Shreddies will do for breakfast.

A steam train went past my house on the branch line to Felixstowe about 15 minutes ago! Unless it comes back up the line to the Trimley passing loop in the next couple of minutes, it will occupy the only platform at Felixstowe station. The only other place it could have gone is the disused Beach Station just outside the dock.

The small cruise liner which was here left last night and was last seen making it’s way slowly down the Sound presumably to watch the sunset.
Another one has now appeared tho’ it could be the same one back again but I cannot see it properly as trees obscure it.
I was down on Main street before 0900 and a lot were wandering around all wearing red jackets which they must be issued with and a large group had gathered round a local historical society member lecturing them.
My reason for being out was to refresh the flowers on my wife’s grave as earthworks being done block visits on weekdays. Very cold wind and still overcast.

@Jenkins I am wanting to do the Rebellion Way in your part of the world soon. Work have no issue with short notice for leave as I would like half decent weather if possible. Does Suffolk work on the lucky dip weather principles or can the forecast be reliable?

There is a medium size cruise ship anchored in the bay from Hurtigruten Expeditions which is a Norwegian outfit who do more unusual destinations.

Usually call them Hurty Gurty. Remind me of a Muppet character/
