I just mopped the apartment.
Judging by the amount of crud this revealed, I probably should have done that sooner...
How terribly European.
I'd say that you need therapy!
Probably beer in one of its many forms
I know it's not beer. You aren't the first to say I need therapy though.

The Rebellion Way appears to be a bit north of here, being Norfolk based, but the weather would most likely be the same - mixed and most definitely in the lucky dip category*. Bring waterproofs, sunscreen, shorts & thermals no matter what time of year you do it. The worst problem you may face is the wind (especially on the North Norfolk coast) as it's relatively flat and with not too many hedges to act as wind breaks with all the open fields. See also below regarding temperature variations with different areas. I've done some of the roads to the south west of Norwich (Diss, Thetford, Attleborough) and you will need to beware that the narrow roads can be in a poor state, especially after rain, as it's a sandy soil with plenty of fun off from the fields.@Jenkins I am wanting to do the Rebellion Way in your part of the world soon. Work have no issue with short notice for leave as I would like half decent weather if possible. Does Suffolk work on the lucky dip weather principles or can the forecast be reliable?
Turns out it was just a flying visit and they probably stopped at Felixstowe for just as long as it took for the steam engine to be put into neutral (or whatever they do) and for the diesel engine at the rear/now front to engage gear and head back up the line. Less than 5 minutes after I posted that, it reappeared on the freight passing loop as the normal passenger service was pulling into Trimley station. I presume they took the freight cut through to the main line nothbound just outside Ipswich so that it could resume running down to London with the steam engine back at the front.A steam train went past my house on the branch line to Felixstowe about 15 minutes ago! Unless it comes back up the line to the Trimley passing loop in the next couple of minutes, it will occupy the only platform at Felixstowe station. The only other place it could have gone is the disused Beach Station just outside the dock.
Edit: Just found out what it is - https://www.railwaytouring.net/the-great-britain-xv---april-2023 (the last day)
