You’d love the person who phoned up as I was waiting. Who was asking to register to be told they have 2 and 1/2 year wait.

One of my back teeth has lost part of a filling and I was not even given an appointment but told I would be on the list if there was a cancellation. I used to get the once over every 6 months but covid put paid to that.
The receptionist I knew well at that time but she has now left.

Cloudy but not yet raining. Still pretty cold tho' and I have put on an extra heater.
My back seems not so bad today but I do not intend to do anything which might aggravate it. Iboprofen gel which I used may have helped.
Over the music festival somebody stole some old lobster creels from outside a fish selling place. They were purely for decorative purposes and of no longer use as working creels.
I had a flag on my workshop in the past and I had to remove it for such events as it got stolen even when the end of the hoist was about 10ft above ground level.
Doubt if it was stolen but a tup has gone awol and the public are asked to keep an eye out for him and report back if seen.
Nobody seems to have had any post for days now as the system seems to be in chaos and vans have not been coming over for a few days allegedly. To add to the problems some posties have resigned in outlying areas.
I have still not got an appointment letter for the endoscopy I had some time ago. They claim to have sent it but fortunately I was able to arrange everything by phone.

Morning.
We are back from our trip to Scotland , Orkney and Shetland . We had a good time . Met some friendly people and seen lots of pretty scenery.
We saw some Seals at Orkney , some Shetland ponies on Shetland and some Hooded Crows . We saw an Osprey and it's nest whilst travelling from Balmoral to Braemar and saw a Red Squirrel at Braemar .
We didn't like the crossing from Orkney to Shetland at 1.45 in the morning due to gale force winds . It was even worse when we were at sea from about 3 to 5 in the morning with your body rolling around whilst trying to sleep .

I'm jealous for the osprey sighting. I've never seen one.

First time for me ! It was very brief and my camera battery went flat !. Got a picture of it's nest though !

We only saw it as the road we should have taken from Braemar was closed due to roadworks so we had to backtrack.

Seeing the Red Squirrel and the Hooded Crows were also a first for us .

Freeview used to go into the 800's but they've gone now.

I thought the 800 numbers were for stations picked up from the 'wrong' transmitter. If so, they'll tend to appear and disappear according to the atmospheric conditions prevailing at the time of the retune. (eg: I think I've noticed London region BBC1 appear up there from time to time, when we're on BBC East from Sudbury)
