Why is it that having finally got my legs out fot the first time this year, the cloud cover hides the sun as soon as I set out this morning? At least it was a nice and warm 37 mile round trip to my sister's so my niece will have her birthday present on the day, not some time during the summer when she comes home from university.

Once home, the bedding was changed and the removed stuff put in the wash while I spread the lawn feed and weed/moss killer on the lawn. No rain yet to get it to work, but it's not far off looking at the radar. This week I'm working on Friday instead of Tuesday, so tomorrw wil have to be domestics day and, now it's finally warmed up a bit, the summer aerodynamic haircut will have to take place.

Where do you leave your legs when not using them for cycling?

New (to me) bike collected. I'm not supposed to be buying, but couldn't resist this one. More details tomorrow when it's light but for now the frame number now I've cleaned underneath following what seems to be quite long-term storage ...

It looks like everything sort of works except the right-hand Shimano 105 / 1055 8 speed shifter.

Virtual cake for anyone who can guess who the Yorkshire-based builder is ...

105 brifter? Try flushing it out with WD-40, often the lubricant got all sticky in long-term storage. Spray the brifter, exercise the brifter, spray the brifter.

It's red.

That's the most important thing, surely!

Looks good now stop teasing.
Not a Kevin Sayles built Woodrup or a Woodrup as frame number is in the wrong place .

I was going to say Flying Scot as that's where they put their frame numbers.
Then I read the other bit!
