Wonderful weather here in Leeds.Have been sat outside,but i am bored.I am not one for sitting around doing nothing.But we are sort of isolating as we go very soon to America and we don't want to catch the lurgy before we go.

For some strange reason I've suddenly started liking pears.

Finished prepping for tomorrow's 600km audax after realising I'd not checked the Ridgeback over fully following a 400km three weeks ago

New chain required , subsequently fitted and it's ready, keeping the un-required links for a future upgrade which will happen in the next couple of months.

I'm not looking forward to the 3.15am alarm call though for a 6am start.

Last night i put a small donation in a gofundpage. half of my monthly pocket money.This afternoon i went looking for my Firetablet cos i am taking it on holiday to do some reading,well there was $50 on my bedside cabinet,the cycling fairy godmother must love me.

Not the best of days. Took car for tyres, fitter snapped off two bolts. Had to get AA to tow me to local garage. One bolt snaped off other wheel. Looks best option is two new hubs and wheel bearings. Will be getting ATS to stump some of it up.

Broken smartwatch taken back to CEX under warranty. No quibbles, tested checked and refunded money, so I went for a better model. Watch is used but mint condition.
