This is for a disc rotor for a rear disc brake wheel. Does this mean I need to play the harmonica whilst riding my recumbent?

At least you'll keep warm and dry as you play.

Been back - still no complete Times and having somehow misplaced the set of keys I use when cycling took my spare set of bike lock keys with me only to discover none fit the lock, not even the one the same make and I do not have another lock of that make.
So that scuppered thoughts of leaving the bike any length of the time whilst hunting out a proper TV guide just on its its inbuilt wheel lock as it might tempt someone to try.

I appear to have ended up at Brands Hatch.

After breakfast I put the empty milk container in the recycling bin and saw the bags of grass clippings that needed to be taken to the recycling centre. Having made a quick booking, a web search showed a race meeting I didn't know about was happening so the Dart Tag was topped up, flask of coffee made and, after the grass was deposited, a tank of diesel, a pack of sandwiches and some snacks were purchased and here I am.

On the way back from the afternoon dog walk I ended up being brought down by a very giddy friendly back lab. Eager to say hello to my dog once she was on the move and round the back of me her owner had no chance. It was all very slow motion ending in a tangle of dogs leads, my legs and me sat on in the middle of the pavement. She was very apligetinc about I said it was all right I was fine the dogs unharmed. It was all quite funny really.

That'll be the Supertouring revival-ish meeting. I've had loads of ads for it on my FB feed.

Any ex-Derek Warwick / ex-Kelvin Burt cars out there?

Hot weather forecast to stay for quite a while.
What did the world do before cable ties?
In my case with an agricultural background binder twine was the saviour. This was always reused and when cutting it you always cut beside the knot and if a longer bit was needed you just joined some bits together.
The problem with my Kettwiessel trike I think is that it was set up for somebody much taller than me and so when I shortened it the chain tubes end up too long. To avoid a kink by putting the tubes back into the proper fastenings I fastened the tube away from the sprockets with a cable tie but still with a clear run. Took it out for a short spin and the noise which alerted me to the problem has gone. Tomorrow I may try a longer run but do not want to get in the way of the Sportive.
There are a few cars going around with bikes on the roof so some have got here anyway.
My FB rant about touroid numbers has surprisingly got quite a few positive reactions.
There appear to be no public toilets open anywhere in the north of the island due to water shortage. Thousands of people and no toilets. Think about that for a moment.
