Any idea if the racing has always been anticlockwise there?

I simply assumed it was the rule for all track racing.

Black bin out. I went swimming this evening, between that and the heat it is now long past bedtime.

Hedgehog is still laid down, but alive, and I've left it fresh food and water. It's hot here though.

We have a car rally here at the weekend which means the town is full of idiots with big exhausts driving around in circles thinking they're cool.

For some reason with the Greater Anglia rail fares offer I could get to Soham and back for £10, but Ely was a full price return (£18 with railcard), so a quick re-jig of an Ely - Cambridge - Ely saved route was done, a layer of P20 suncream applied and off I went. A lovely ride in the sunshine, little traffic and even a bit of rain at the end, then home for a couple of cheap pizzas for tea. Much needed.

Only 6 more days of work to go in June.

A "bitsas" supper this evening: the last of the ham & mushroom pasta, the last of the tzatziki, plus new potatoes, carrots, savoy cabbage and asparagus.

The fridge has emptied out muchly.

Just had a slice of bakewell tart.

Graceland the home of the late Mr Presley,is quite a modest home.A nice hallway then a living room and a dining room. then it gets dark and funny.Kitchen from the 70's is nothing to shout about,then a sort of Kontiki Hawian theme room with green grass looking carpet.Very low key.The guy was not flashy I would say he was rather laid back athome,pool was modest aswell.A guide said the house and grounds could be worth £400- £500 million.It was a nice surprise to see such a modest home.

The little one we found on our doorstep was coughing. We took it to a Hedgehog place who said it had Lung Worm. It died a day later .

I have to take my Jag for it's MOT this morning . I will take my camera to photograph the section of road that's missing due to a landslide.
Last time I spotted a Bullfinch whilst I was there .
