It didn't get collected yesterday so will be dropped off today at local depot.

Morning trundle of 21 miles completed in lovely clear blue skies and a gentle breeze .
First cuppa went down well.
Garden birds have been fed and today's first arrival was a sparrow .

Graceland the home of the late Mr Presley,is quite a modest home.A nice hallway then a living room and a dining room. then it gets dark and funny.Kitchen from the 70's is nothing to shout about,then a sort of Kontiki Hawian theme room with green grass looking carpet.Very low key.The guy was not flashy I would say he was rather laid back athome,pool was modest aswell.A guide said the house and grounds could be worth £400- £500 million.It was a nice surprise to see such a modest home.

Forget the kitchen and tell him us the important details.

How big was his bike shed?

We have a car rally here at the weekend which means the town is full of idiots with big exhausts driving around in circles thinking they're cool.

We have annual car racing which is even worse tho' I think they have now gone mainly off road for the actual racing. Covid constrained them for a bit but they will be back in October when all sensible people leave the island for a week.

Another hot day in prospect.

Glad to see the tradition of giving nicknames has not entirely died out.
Our new cemetery is called Machu Picchu as it does indeed have some resemblance.

Need to go out and open some car widows to let the breeze cool the interior a little bit.

Spean Bridge to Laggan road is closed due to landslides so they must have had some thunderstorms up there tho' we have not had anything like that yet.

The actual rally fans aren't really a problem as they'll be out and about actually watching the stages.

The problems are the nutters that descend on the town and drive like idiots, cruising around in circles, doing doughnuts at junctions and burnouts in the main street and generally just make noise and nuisance. Then there are the other ones who get drunk and vandalize things.

I usually plan on being away for it but I couldn't this year as I couldn't get off work this week or next. I did think about a weekend camping trip but with this weather, everything will be so busy.

Any idea what I could else I could use Sudocrem for as found 2 small out of date tubs yesterday and it seems such a waste to throw them ?
Any good for bearing lubricant?
