Georgie is stretched out on our bed asleep.

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with sliced Silesian sausage, one with Gouda cheese, plus an apple, some strawberries, some pineapple and two :cuppa:

Spent the afternoon cutting grass (in the orchard etc where everything is well shaded) and then treated myself to half an hour in my camping chair listening to Test Match Special.

Now sat down with a :cuppa: while watching the news.

Many dogs do a little but very endearing sideways tilt of the head as they wait. I discovered that seagulls can also do this when I was eating haddock and chips on the Suffolk coast a couple of days ago.

Whereas Madam Lexi rams her murder mittens in your gluteus maximus instead  Well, if you ignore her, at any rate. Madam Poppy goes all "Maria Callas" if there's something she wants what's on my plate.

Last day in New Orleans, which is by far the most expensive city on this tour. The weather is got and very uncomfortable.I have had great beers while being here. The bars we have used brew their own and very nice they have been.A few Porters and my fave here is Red Stallion. So tonight a good pasta dish and two pints of The Red.We head off tomorrow for Montgomery and our final day,it's been good but also tiring in parts.I am looking forward to cycling at home, been out souvenir shopping in the heat this morning,an afternoon near the pool coming up.
