Morning .
It is raining here at the moment . Light rain but steady. We need it . I have been draining our water butts try to top up our pond .

I went for a ride last night with my friends. 6 of us made it . I did 26miles as I cycled to the meeting place and back again . It was a nice evening and we found some pretty level roads . We got split up a couple of times so had to up the pace trying to get back together again . I was knocking along at 18 mph trying to catch up with a friend who was trying close up on the group. After about a mile I eased off as the gap wasn't closing . I had pegged the gap but my legs were going up and down too fast . I couldn't change up to the larger chainring for some reason. We finally got back together and then went to a pub for a drink.
I'm a bit achy this morning .
Oh ! My Viscount seems to go really well.

After yesterday almost 2 hours stuck in aftereffects of an accident plus lane closers. Once park up at the site it turned out to be nice relaxing evening. A walk into the village find wants want. Then a walk via site only path to beach. No on but us but sand and sea. Spotted a few oyster catchers. Almost fell climbing down to the beach. Noting bad stop myself in time all fun really. The amount of plastic washed up is mad. So only one to do. We picked up want we could carry and a dog poo bag of stuff. Plastic bottles , nylon rope, a rubber glove clearly off a fishing boat and a good few Plastic wrappers. All now in bin and out the environment. Then off to the cafe for a coffee and a doggie ice cream for Charlie.

Today we are off on bus to the seaside. More walking and fish and chip sat on the sea front.

The boy racers have started early. I have no idea how many Lexus IS200s Toyota made but most of them seem to have ended up here this weekend.

Can't wait for them all to go home so I can cycle again.

Still dry but overcast.
Busy morning so far.
Tracking tells me a parcel was delivered last Wednesday. Not to me tho' as it should have been and the photo shows nothing sensible. There used to be a mix up with my address and another on the same road but not had that problem for years.
I phoned them anyway and the householder sounded a bit confused but confirmed the post had tried to deliver a parcel which was not theirs.
As well as informing the sender I have just been to the PO who said they would have a word with the postie to see if they could get any further info.
When trying to print out the tracking information my printer decided not to cooperate and that took ages to fix.
A printer is now really needed here for printing ferry tickets as well.
Washing machine has finished and that is sorted out to dry.
Library is next on the list.
I suppose life would be a bit dull unless we had all sorts of nonsenses to sort out.
