New hoover has been assembled and tested successfully.
Out on a ride today and I was buzzed some of the Red Arrows. Proper made me jump.
Timing and direction would suggest they were heading south west after the trooping of the colour. Ma and Pa B used to live close to RAF Scampton and you’d see them all the time, but they’ve never snuck up on me like that before.

Best to phone one of the port offices and hope you do not get the call centre. The bumph tells you anyway that no need to book unless more than 6 bikes together. I am told by shore staff that even my trike qualifies as a bike so long as it has pedals.

My missing parcel was located because the sender had put a slightly wrong address and the new postman had no idea who I was. He claimed to have asked around and nobody had ever heard of me.
A symptom of what is happening here as the whole place is being overtaken by incomers who know nothing and nobody and care less. The community which existed has gone.
The wrong address was due to out of date software to identify addresses from the postcode which had errors from the start. More modern software does not have this problem.
The sender has now changed my address on their system but somehow in a way I cannot understand seem to have changed the layout of the desktop on my Macbook.

When I booked the Arran ferry on their website, some sailings were showing as booked out for bicycles, which I doubt as they could fit loads on the vehicle deck.
