I love rabbit, take it over boring old chicken any day of the week. Not sure what those 'other things' were but bet it was more interesting than most of the tasteless meat we eat in the UK?

Chicken was more flavorful back in the days when it ran in a yard instead of grew in a factory.

Which is why I'd much rather spend the money on a good quality free-range bird. And organic if I can get it. You really *do* notice the difference in flavour over an intensively-reared chook, especially if you're just roasting it and the like.

For curries and casseroles, I'm a bit less fussed, but if buying cheaper chicken, I only buy legs or thighs and then cook on the bone.

The only detail I've given is 'early October' so a 24 hour watch on all approaches (road, rail, water & air) to Leeds for 10 days will be difficult to maintain.
Road, at some point you'll have to cross the M62. There's more cameras per mile on there than any other motorway.
Rail, you can track trains these days. LNER have an open system for their onboard CCTV systems.
Air, nearest airports are Leeds-Bradford and Leeds-Bradford East. Easy track on ADS-B.
water, marine traffic. Some vessels keep a list of passengers in accord withe the SOLAS Accord.

Passport Control!!
