Very unexciting morning. Idea was to rake the front lawn and grass seed it again. Well that did happen but only after pulling out stacks of weeds including knotweed and in the process of which using an appropriate weed removing tool without any gloves on resulted in a blister  Now trusting some rain turns up...

I was on welcome team this morning at church. So one stands at the gate and says hello and talks to anyone who walks past or comes to church. So we have two banners either side of the gate.Pale blue with the wording LeedsVineyard. So i was asked by a young chap what was going on,i explained,he was so disappointed to find out it had nothing to do with wine.

Last week whilst holidaying in Llandudno the Mrs and me came across a Punch and Judy show. I do love Punch and Judy and when the crowd was asked ā€˜what does Mr Punch like to eat’? We all yelled ā€˜SAUSAGES’!
This awoke the Crocodile

which lurked menacingly behind Mr Punch. Oh didn’t we all scream ā€˜behind you’!

I'm surprised (but happy) that the fun police haven't put a stop to those wonderful shenanigans!!

I once watched a neighbour do that. Every house sparrow within miles turned up to the feast.

Felixstowe seafront was already packed out at just after 11am when I went out for a bimble. A long queue backing up to the A14/dock gate 1 just to get there, not a single on-street parking spot available on any of the 3 seafront roads (or any of the side roads as far as a quick look could show) and even the pay & display car parks were almost full.

A new personal record for motorhome/campervan/van conversions was counted with 28 parked up on the bit where there's no sea wall to spoil the view. Plus another couple of dozen on the cliff top car park, most with awnings or EZ-Ups (or both!) taking up even more space.

There's going to be a lot of lobster coloured people by the end of the day!
