No its not OK, they are buying it for someone who is underage to use not for themselves.

If you were to see them do it then yes. But if someone went in and purchased the item without you knowing who was over the age limit then there would be no reason not to sell it to them .

Poured rain all day which has now abated but is replaced by fog with wind behind it so just as wet.
Fog plays havoc with the ferry services which have radar but many small sailing craft are invisible so they are frightened in case they run them down.
Reports from the Coastguard service regarding small cargo vessels with foreign registrations make frightening reading also.
What is radar please and here is our navigation book of road maps?

Had a lovely luncheon of a smoked mackerel sandwich (the last of the mackerel), a banana, an orange, some lovely Tayside strawberries and the obligatory two :cuppa:

The expected rain did not arrive, so spent the afternoon in the garden doing stuff that's not such fun when it's hot. This included cutting hazel canes to complete the supports on most of my tomatoes, as well as cutting some for a friend. I shall drop those off for her later in the week. As a result, I've built the trellises and then tied the saggy bits of the plants to them. Looks so much neater.

Am now sat down with a :cuppa: and a biskit.

sad day today. Daughter took her bike back to her apartment where she lives with her boyfriend. who is going to tune it up every year?

I sent her off w/ one spare tube & 1 tire lever. good luck kid :headshake:

she says there's a great paved rail trail near them & she wanted it. I should be happy & proud ...

she also took her winter car tires, after the regular tires got swapped on & an oil change near us. then off she goes to live her own life. I should be happy & proud ...

stoopid kids

kissed Wifey goodbye for 18 1/2 days ...

What a rough week you’re having . Your posts did make me wonder if they should be a country & western song. Hebe Jr is doing a week’s work experience with the Mister this week and it feels incredibly strange not to be taking her to and from the bus stop every day.

Morning.
I went round to my daughter's to check up on her cat . He was asleep in his basket. We had some nice head, chin , ear rubs and some nice tummy tickles! That was for Schrodie and not me!
That is a truly excellent name for a cat ^_^

I had to put on my jacket to walk to the shop. Summer appears to have departed again.

That's the problem no one has write a law or more to point no minister has used ministerial executive power to change the current law.
It's current example of law not keeping up with changers.
Said this before, but caps(for cap guns) are covered by the firearms and explosives act, and the guns, Nerf included are covered by the violent crimes reduction act. Thereby limiting their sale to anyone under 18 years of age.

Proved really popular in a toy shop. But we had the relevant signage in position.
