Lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with sliced steak with a teeny sprinkling of salt, one with burrata cheese, plus a nectarine, an orange and two :cuppa:

Rain, light as it is, looks to have set in, and everything outside is now decidedly wet. Indoor doings this afternoon, then.

Got the TdF on the tv and the tennis on text commentary.

Happy 4th of July to all of our American Mundaners 🦃

Now don't get me wrong, I love a bit of chicken, but the Hotel Bristol in Paris seem to have added a '0' by mistake?

Added to which the Hotel Paris is Bristol does a decent chicken roast for £13.99.

Lovely sunny day with a light northerly wind. Not too hot but just about right for cycling.
Morning had a run up the Moss Road and then on to the main A road north to Benderloch and back by the cycle path through the campsite. Timing on the main road is important and the bridge works at Connel cause a long enough delay to let me get to the cycle path with no traffic from behind.
The cycle path was surprisingly busy with a mix of touring cyclists and ones out for exercise.
The trike always causes a double take from most people.

Sat in the sun for a bit at the airfield but no traffic at that time.

Afternoon up the Bonawe road with no lorry traffic from the quarry and considerate car and van traffic.
Different bird life from at home as well with a few swallows and martins but no shore birds to be seen.

Just as well I travelled yesterday as MV Loch Frisa has been off all day with some unspecified problem.

Sat in the sun when I came back with a couple of bottles of no alcohol cider.
