I've just seen some pictures of Batman and Robin and Superman wearing their pants !

I thought they were always wearing their pants. I thought that one privilege being a superhero was that you could wear your pants over your outer garments and no-one would laugh.

But with telephone boxes increasingly being used as libraries & rescitation machine booths, Superheroes have to find other places to transmogrify.
It's not just taking their glasses off, you know!

Good morning all from a partly cloudy Suffolk where the first office coffee of the day has just been finished. Just another 6 hours to go (or possibly 5 as I'm still owed an hour) and that's it until the 25th.

The sun is breaking through early today. Probably means it will rain soon.
Calmac decide at 0630 that they can run the big ferry today. Smell must have abated.
This last cancellation has caused some confusion with some touroid who are due to come here but have no idea where "here" actually is. They have no idea of the geography of the area especially regarding possible diversions.
Another question this morning is one wanting to know if there is a doctor or do they have to go back to Oban to get antibiotics prescribed.
We only have three doctor's surgeries and one small hospital.
In days past when I dressed respectably for work and wore a sports jacket and tie I used to get stopped in the street quite often.

Oh dear! It looks like it's going to be one of those days!
I went to the doctor's this morning for a PSA test. I saw the nurse and she looked it up and said that I don't need one ! I said that we were told that I was due for one but according to the records I don't! My wife looked it up and I do . I will go up again tomorrow afternoon.
I moved my Jag as the scaffolders are going to put up some scaffolding today . Now they are coming tomorrow!
