Depends on what you class as "local".

I got the 194 bus from West Wickham to Sydenham and had a jolly nice evening at The Greyhound.

I'm now on the bus back. It takes about 20 minutes end to end, but I could cycle it quicker as the bus goes slightly round the houses.

I thought everyone had a pub they called their local, even if it isn't

It's been a warm and blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, and we seem to have avoided all the rain.

Overslept massively, watched the Formula E (ouch, what a shimozzle!), watched some cycling and tennis, and then toddled off to Tesco for a spot of yellow stickering.

Returned with a suitable quantity of fish (haddock, hake, basa & tuna) plus some prawns and BBQ pork steaks and a couple of other gubbins.

Had a steak sandwich for supper, and have just finished watching "Sully". Tom Hanks is just such a superb actor.

Now I'm in want of a

Oh, and the sack of cat litter that I ordered turned up this morning. As did the card reader.

Hopefully I can get all those niggly issues sorted now.

I got bitten by a mosquito last night but I managed to squash it (or a relative) when it flew toward me as I was sitting on the bed.

Meanwhile, someone has decided that 9am on a Sunday morning is a good time to start drilling holes in the road.
