If I were to add the short video clip of me decending the slide with excited grandchildren, this post would exceed the normal limit for mundaneness

I'm going to be near Bromley (probably nearer to @Dec66 territory) on grandparent duty this evening. The littlest one is performing in some kind of summer show for her dance and drama class.

Pouring rain and it really means it this time. Looks set in for the day and Calmac are putting out warnings of disruptions tho' the forecast I saw did not look too bad so far as wind was concerned.

More cattle wandering around and causing havoc.
At one time sheep were everywhere in the town, even wandering along the Main St and having a look in the shops.
All garden gates were set to open outwards as they could not then be pushed open to allow sheep to invade gardens.
Cattle and hens tended to be around everywhere as well but were not so much of a menace.
That was when this was a proper island town.

It'll be 34c here today in Igalo, Montenegro and is already warm and sunny.

I've been for a swim in the sea.

(Sorry, not sorry for those unable to ride due to wind and rain).

Son no. 2's got a tough very hilly race in bad weather near Ashbourne. Not sure if he sorted a race crew to support him.

Good morning from a blustery Suffolk. I wish this weather would make up its mind - when I woke up it was sunny, then overcast while having coffee and it's now sunny again just as I'm about to have breakfast.

Today's excitement will be heading out to get some rolls as I have removed a pack of bacon from the freezer.

I peeled a kiwi fruit, to put in my yoghurt, strawberry & honey breakfast, this morning.

It was more slippery than a slippery thing!
