It's a mild, breezy and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard. So far, we've been missing all the showers.

Slept well - other than lady issues. Have had a quiet morning. Load of laundry is in, have run the vacuum around upstairs. This afternoon's main task is to tidy up all the shopping, refill the fruit bowls, deal with packaging, shove some stuff in the freezer, that sort of thing.

Anyways, it is time for luncheon and someone wants their chicken.

Rain stops play so been sent home from work.
I'll find something bike related to do ... Might fit new brakes I have from the wiggle sale....

As it's a nice day thought i'd have a walk to M&S I miss just being able to call in when I liked now it's out of town. I needed a few things for Mrs 73 birthday anyway. Even bagged a few nice easter things which will came in handy for her cake. Also bagged a big box of chocolates reduced to clear not sure why they are well in date. Some price as a small box so more to spend on other presents and flowers.

Got a longer walk than yesterday but being on a narrow road. I was a bit surprised at the number of close passes at speed. Since we are now in touroid season I did not recognise anyone local doing this.

Back home I tried out the spare car key . Not working but not to worry I have a spare battery. Unfortunately the spare battery is so old it does not work. Fortunately the car can be opened by a manual door lock but I cannot get a new battery until I get down the street which is too far to walk and I am not taking the car out due to the broken springs.
Rooting about in a bag looking for the battery I came on a new looking key so probably a copy of one I will need sometime.
Problem with that is I have no idea what door this key opens. Could be the back door on my son’s house but cannot check that till I get there.
Life gets complicated sometimes.

I have many keys that either do, or did, open something or another..
Obviously, they can't be disposed of as as soon as they go, the associated lock will turn up!

Snooze has been snoozed, followed by some gardening. A whole bucket of weeds have been pulled ir dug out. Beans have been planted in peat pots & put in the greenhouse.

Currently we're in York - this is most of our hotel room, which has a decent view as well! We had lunch en route and SWMBO has been shopping.

Nice restaurant this evening and a chocolate-making workshop tomorrow morning.

That'll have to do instead of our usual Easter holiday.

I am in Lancashire overnight.Bringing the word light redemption and good news to these wayward people.
Are you suggesting they move to Yorkshire?
A new banner has appeared over the page, gone has the jewellery and shoes,we now have scantily clad ladies.two are standing in fields so I am thinking they might be farmers.
Go on, what have you been searching for online this time?

Is that the new one over looking the river ? It looks a bit like the rooms when I was looking them up.

I still have keys for forestry road gates but trying them last year they must have changed the padlocks as my keys no longer work but but but they may work in the future so still keep them.
We ran cycle events down these roads and had keys in case of an accident requiring vehicle evacuation.
