Good morning. Getting ready for work.

First cuppa brewing
Grey is the best description I can think of

Perhaps you should clean the kettle.

My friend and I decided to go on our planned ride yesterday despite the weather not looking very good. An hour before our meeting time it was light rain turning to drizzle but we decided to go ahead and try to see how weatherproof our weatherproof clothing was. Luckily the drizzle stopped soon after but the gusts of wind were really strong . We did my usual route and then popped into Lacock for tea and cake.
My fitness trainer put me through it on the return journey as I found it hard to keep up at times. The energy juice in my legs had run out . We did 12 miles.

Rainy windy and generally muddy. It's going to be overshoes in the mud hole called the woods today 👹
Stripped out back wheel and hub etc . Absolutely rammed with mud in the cassette and brake rotor.
It will hopefully work again for a few hours now

for the most part, my tool storage is very organised...
View attachment 726414
even the jars on my 'spice' rack have screws and nails and stuff all neatly sorted.
but this allen key, the only one that fits my guitar saddle is probably the only imperial key i have. Last used 20 years ago when i bought the guitar and set it up. At least I have two now... or in a few days.

My trouble with tools now is that I have too many. In the past I had a set for the home workshop with satellite ones for the knitwear workshop and also the boat and motorhome. I still have a home organised toolbox but there are tools scattered everywhere plus a basic set on various bikes and trikes.

Bright sunny morning but cold.
Forecast looks like we may get a slight rise in temperature from tomorrow,
Medium size girls [as opposed to wee girls] already out on horses and looks like they are heading back to the stables just along the road . Early starters.
I could try getting out on a trike today tho' I think I overdid the exercise the other day when I met one hill which nearly defeated me and the e assist as well. My leg muscles have been complaining ever since. Trouble living at the top of a hill is that you cannot avoid the steep hills around here every time you go out.
