Go with what works...
And now your eggs bounce back when dropped.

Great having waited since Saturday for the bathroom drain to be sorted. We've phoned up to see if anyone is coming today. Only to be told the company the council use have lost the job request. So they have to put it though as yet another 3 working days repair. We've kicked off and they've change it to a 24 hour one. Not impressed :cursing:

got friendly neighbors?

Nope, nope & nope (tee-total)
Shower, dinner (Hunters Chicken), chat with MrsPete for a while. Bed at about 20:45 as my alarm will be going off at 02:50..

Pouring rain most of the day but the main gales not forecast till tomorrow.
Just got a phone call from son who is in Morar just now with wife and camper van. He said it had been dry all day and still was but rain probably coming later.
Got my ICE trike set up eventually but not yet topped up the tyre pressure. As with the Brompton it took a bit of head scratching to get it all set up before I strip the seat off to get it out.
Not going to do that till I get a dry day and since I hope to be off for a few days it will not be before the end of next week.
This all assumes the local garage will get the car springs renewed on Monday. There have been some occasions in the past when they got the wrong parts causing delays so fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

Day of sunshine (eg around noon) and heavy showers (eg 1230) but eventually turned dry so the ebike had an early evening stay at the totally clear of obstruction bike stands at the nearest Lidl whilst its rider exchanged those mouldy "Nakd" bars.
Also made use of a couple of the apps vouchers on hand wash and walnuts. Seven turning/crossing movements with the A59 and only got stopped at one of them.

Rather mundane day really. I was working until 3, then I took my usual Friday walk to my favourite second hand book shop for a browse. Someone had already bought the narrow gauge railway book he had listed on his Facebook page but I did find a biography on Enzo Ferrari. I love the shop but he needs bigger premises, or some day there will be someone killed in an avalanche of books, records, guitars, old Castrol signs and other assorted bric-a-brac.

It dried up so I did about 25 miles on the bike. Now just about to have pie and chips.
