It appears someone has got into my back garden and taken a wheel, probably on Thursday morning whilst I had an online work meeting.

I'd removed the rear wheel from the Raleigh Pioneer to put some paint on the frame where it'd flaked off. This morning I realised it'd gone missing - during the meeting a couple of scrap wagons came down the street and later that day I found the side gate open. Looks like someone had come down the side and taken the wheel from my rear garden. It was a nice vintage Campagnolo one as well :cursing:
Not nice.

I came home a few years ago to find someone trying to remove the quad from round the back of the house.
Phone out and a 999 call to the police. The scrap lorry had gone by the time they got here.

That being the case, there should be no "obscure one's".

Some of their very early stuff isn't completely mainstream, and there's some that IIRC were B-sides that never made the albums.

You've got to admit that the vast majority of people don't go beyond the "Greatest Hits" stuff.

Still windy out last nights heavy rain and strong winds look to have past over. It was quite a mind and dry early morning dog walk, It's gone a bit overcast and light rain looking. Now sat with :cuppa: looking out the window at a rainbow that's just appeared.
Soon be time to feed Charlie.

Morning .
Grey and raining here! I thought the weather peeps had a sunny symbol for today.
I took my Nikon D 70 apart yesterday hoping to find that the pin in the card reader that had been pushed down wasn't as bad as the D70. It was worse! I managed to untangle it . It should be L shaped, it wasn't. It broke as I tried to straighten the pin but I managed to solder it back together. Trying to manipulate it back into place was difficult but I eventually managed to do it . Trying to solder the other end to the circuit board is a nightmare! Not sure if I did it or not but I did notice that someone else had done one before. I put the camera back together and switched it on. I hadn't cured the fault but I hadn't broken it! I am gradually learning! I may try having another go at the D70. Yesterday I learnt a better way to solder the L back together.

I thought I had dreamt last night about buying a bike today but looking at my messages it wasn't a dream.

A day of sunshine and horizontal showers by the looks of it.
I was only out as far as the dustbin yesterday and had difficulty staying upright and today the wind is forecast to be stronger.

MV Loch Frisa is going to try a sailing at 0930 but no high sided vehicles and no livestock. On some of the Outer Isles boats and the Shetland ones they used to supply sick bags.
While a seaworthy little boat the emphasis is in little so it should be a lively crossing and for anyone not accustomed to the movement of small boats it would be wise to have sick bags handy today. It all adds to the adventure for the touroid.
