Pretty full on morning dog walk , quick turn round and a quick call into town. Once home get set up and ready for an interview on zoom
Now that's done I've got just enough time to have a rest :cuppa:and few jobs at home. Then it will be time to take Charlie back to vets.
Charlie's not happy as he's not been feed due to having needed a fasting blood test.

Was dry until I broke from WAH for lunch and walked to the Co-Op. Normal non working app voucher on a bag of muesli, 50p manually deducted by the till operator. Emailed them yet again suggesting they ought to fix it.

I had a very odd mug of tea once in Spain. When we arrived at the roadside cafe, we did not know it was the equivalent of a truck stop for Moroccan workers. The "tea" was served in a very tall glass mug. I think the liquid was hot water with a dash of evaporated milk, with a tea bag on a string floating in it.

No amount of dunking or stirring made any difference to the strength of the "tea". So I took out the teabag and drank the concoction. It seemed rude to complain to the staff, if that was usually served as tea to their usual clientele.

After that, I decided to only order coffee in a café, as I can drink and enjoy weak coffee, rather than very weak tea.

A mildish day here chez Casa Reynard, far less blustery than yesterday and with grey cloud rolling in. Rain is forecast for this afternoon.

Slept well, and have spent the morning writing. I've also furkled out some ingredients for tonight's supper. Not what I'd planned, but I've got some sweet potatoes that are very much in need of use, ergo I shall use them up. Also measured up my road bike as someone had a question about the Wiggins Rouen and I got tagged in the thread.

This afternoon I need to pop out and run a few errands and fill up the car with fuel.

Firstly though, it is time for luncheon and someone wants their chicken.

P.S. tea for luncheon is usually made in a pot with loose leaf

This tea drinker only drinks coffee in Spain. It's much safer. I can't tell the difference between bad coffee and good coffee, so long as it's hot........but a Spanish cup of tea can verge on the undrinkable.
