Look what I spotted in our garden this morning!

I had suspected that there might have been one from the messages I had found in the garden.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Early-ish coffee and bun out whilst waiting for the bank to open. I've a fairly big pair of bills to pay and they both like cash.

First is the hard drive with my retrieved data on and the second is some work on son no. 2's Cervelo. It's got 3T Aeronova bars and I prefer paying someone else to put cables through those rather than me getting frustrated.

Dry so far but the clouds are fairly scudding across the sky.
Calmac [ you never escape from them] have no bookable ferry timetable next week which is causing much lamentation as it will just be turn up and go sometime. No idea why but probably due to some problem with not enough boats.
Our local FB page seems to have been taken over by touroid full of stupid questions.
" We came over on a single ticket in case we hated the place but how are we to get home with no bookable ferries?"
Cue loads of other touroid jumping in with advice about the Wunderful route via Lochaline which personally I dislike having used it a lot in the past.
" Can I get diesel fuel anywhere on Mull for my car and are there any shops where I can buy food?"
This goes on for ages and I am tempted to put my oar in telling the holiday homes to take their bl--- dustbins in and as they were emptied last week and are blocking our parking spaces. Presumably they are waiting on the servants to do it and anyway they are not paying a rental and taking dustbins in.
A bit peevish this morning as I still have a lot of unpacking and sorting to do.

Beautifully clear morning as I drove to work today, despite a lot of high cloud. Towards the bottom of Burnthouses Lane just before it joins the A688 a huge vista opens up to the east towards the Cleveland Hills & North Yorkshire Moors. Just as I got there today a great big shaft of sunlight was beaming down over in the distance, looking very like it was about to deposit Mr Bean at the foot of Roseberry Topping.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's a bright and warm start to the day. The first coffee of the day has just been finished and breakfast will be had shortly ahead of the first of this weekend's trips up north. Should be a good evening having seen the band a couple of times.

Many thanks for that - I'll keep an eye on them for updates as there's the comment (which I've seen elsewhere)

Which began in mid February and therefore expires at the end of April and I'm hoping to be there in late May.

Ah, so it's a bit ''Watch this space.'' from the end of the month. The restoration work looks complicated....

Was looking a bit black but it's now past and a nice dry day is the cards though It's a bit nippy in placers.
So the washers on and the plan is to get put the washing out on the line later.

good then you'll be done w/ it! I recently paid a big bill by check, transferred $$ from savings to checking, to cover it, now waiting for that big check to clear. annoying. for a while, I was getting bank checks so the money came out immediately

It's the season of fake greenery here too. They're restoring a park over the road and the green bit in the middle wasn't there this morning.

That's play surface polymer composite it's so the little darlings bonce if they fall off. If not laid right they soon fall to bits the stuff in our park. Has been re-done time after time it's still not right.
