That's play surface polymer composite it's so the little darlings bonce if they fall off. If not laid right they soon fall to bits the stuff in our park. Has been re-done time after time it's still not right.

I knew what it was... But I had no idea what to call it. I considered bouncy asphalt and then I decided to not even try!

It's a warm and sort of sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well. My hayfever is giving me the sneezes and sniffles. Madam Lexi has spent the morning in the garden, pootling in and around all the forget-me-nots. They're all flowering and look absolutely fabulous. I have done a load of laundry this morning, and sorted out a bunch of stuff for tomorrow. I have also done some writing.

Sorry @Jenkins, I lost track of time...

Can anyone recommend a good blogging site / software etc? My cat show friends (mostly) keep asking me for recipes whenever I cook something, and it seems like a good way to share them. And any other sort of foody know-how that I get asked for.

I am getting a bit stressed about tomorrow, as I've had such appalling luck in the search for another cat.

Wordpress is about one the best free user friendly ones. Bear app is a good clean one for note taking and sorting idea. Easy to cut and paste into a blog post. Trello is another one for arranging and sort ideas and notes. I use to for ideas, lists grouping weblink's and planning. As it's team project tool you can give access to others.

Wait while it rains. it the becomes worse than concrete. Or concrete becomes a lot safer in the wet compared to that stuff.

Just cleaned up and now waiting for Mrs 73 birthday cake to come out the oven. It's not still Sunday but i've only got today free to myself, plan is to decorate tomorrow before she get's up. It's a pretty good old round chocolate cake with added evaporated milk. Makes a lovely black frost gateau. The plus side is plenty of left over evaporated milk so think it's coffee time with a dash or two.

Had a lovely luncheon of a chunk of Melton Mowbray pork pie, a roast pork belly sandwich made with a very nice onion bread, plus a banana, an apple and two

Busy afternoon. Laundry out of the machine and hung up to dry, swept & vacuumed the carpets and seats in the car, checked oil, coolant, screenwash, tyre pressures and all the lights. Chucked track pump in the boot as I prefer it to a foot pump, checked my box of tools / spares to see if everything was present & correct. Put a cat basket in the boot too - not sure if I need it but would rather have it and not want it than not have it and need it. Just need to sort out drinks and snacks.

Did watch a bit of the horse racing, and now sat down with a and a biskit.

Abandoned WAH for equally mind minding weeding of the rear lawn. Quite easy down the east side then discovered it was rather wet towards the middle and eventually had enough. Might it dry out a bit for tomorrow?
