Another nap and still not with it . This one is going to last all day it seems .

I had one of those yesterday .

Poured rain most of the day and still belting down.
Managed a short trip out to take some things down to the car before the rain really got going but otherwise stuck indoors.
Very depressing.

Rain has arrived. Tomorrow looks at first glance to be a nice ebiked commute to the office then I saw the afternoon 30mph+ predicted gusts.

It's been a bright, comparatively warm but rather breezy day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, and have had a quiet day spent working on the writing. Oh, and I *might* have watched a spot of snooker as well. I only went out just now to drop off the parental's prescription slip at the quack.

Just sitting down with a and a biskit.

The pate I made on Saturday night is bloody lovely. Had some on toast for my luncheon. And I shall be posting the recipe in the food & drink section. I highly recommend this one as, despite being a bit fiddly on the prep, is WELL worth the effort.

Not a bad afternoon at Silverstone - it only rained for two of the three hours of the race. And the whole of the drive over there. The sun came out just as I got back home.
It could have been worse - I could have been at Donington which was a complete wet out for the whole morning I understand.

There was a two and a half hour delay in getting the racing going, and lots of hiccups due to the run-off areas being waterlogged and then some.

A friend is the Chief Marshal at Donington, and she said it was a right challenge to get stuff straightened out.

Well that's weird, just checked the credit card statement and thought flip should have taken that 2 way adaptor back to Toolstation that I did not need only then for an email from them and a PayPal confirmation of the £1.42 being refunded

I watched a seagull eat a live crab on the shore today. I can confirm that they don't leave much behind.

Well I've had 3 naps today and still feeling a bit groggy. I was getting bored so I did a bit of repairs to the gold lining on my Viking Conquest. I didn't do too bad a job of it but that about as much concentration for today.

Pretty sure the A45 has special grooves in for our car as we seem to be going up and down it soooooo much

Tried to take Charlie out for his evening potter round the green. A car up the road with a busted exhaust kept back firing and spooked him. He shot 1/2 drown next doors drive , noise stop for few seconds. Then he shot off back home.
