The rain has finally stopped. At least it gave me an excuse to give the car an outing for the first time in 3 weeks and get a couple of bulky & heavy bits while shopping.

A second coffee of the day is currently being enjoyed and, if it stays dry, a bit of fresh air may be taken.

I read it a very long time ago. These days I find my Kindle's better on the eyes. Not that I read much sci fi now.

I wonder what is the temperature at which a Kindle catches fire? 🤔

Well it's the Wrong Trousers now.
Not raining, but I'm not dressed for extended cycling
Also, the will is not there.

Instead I'm messing the diet by fridge raiding.

Also the ladies at the tea shop don't like being paid by card. Maybe they are fiddling their taxes.

Well I managed an informal 20 km. Funny it's warm.
I thought on the outward journey that I must be getting fitter. Speed was well up.
But the return was against the wind. Vanity, all vanity.

I just went for my first outing in the car since getting my cataracts done. 3 weeks and 5 days. Safe but still not 100%. Full torrential shower followed by driving into sunshine on soaked roads - the full glare test.

And then home, where I settled down for a coffee and realised I'd left my phone in the car. I'm out of the driving routine.

A short and very sharp shower has just passed through and now the sun's out again.

I haven't fully recovered.I have been sleeping for most of the day. It is a shame as it has been nice and sunny today. One of my trips out in the garden was to see what the Pogs are doing. Not a lot only 2 dollops of spawn.

As expected first work matter I tried to progress came to halt when I spotted conflicting info. Two more I got cancelled as being so wrong they were not worth doing anything with.
Lunchtime saw a sunny Co-op trek there and a not so sunny windy return
Had a £1 off a pack of Ciabatta Rolls so tomorrow will see one burnt heated in the air fryer. Just a bit puzzled on the sprinkle lightly with water, salt I can manage but this could be a soaking.
