Well, that was a shock. I got on the train and 2 people offered me their seat in rapid succession. I must have aged a decade overnight!

I was expecting to see the Alfa Spider dissolve before my eyes in the torrential rain!

I should have tried for photos but it such heavy rain.

An Alfa V6 sounds lovely 😍 That's what a proper car sounds like, unlike the twits who drive around town in TDI VWs with big bore exhausts.

I usually put my wallet in my saddle bag on long rides. I forgot this morning and I had it in my jersey pocket underneath my somewhat boil in the bag waterproof jacket.

Now my wallet (and banknotes) is soaked in sweat and smells absolutely minging

So, I've been over to see the seals at Horsey Gap. While I was there, I saw my first house martens and swallows of the year - I haven't seen any at all over London this year. And I also saw a little lizard scurrying out of the sand dunes and into the greenery on the other side of the path.

We had two free tickets for the Banff Gondola. It’s snowing here and when we got to the top nothing to see except grey snow cloud, very disappointing

Some while back we had a brief discussion about water availability and a kind poster offered that churches would often have taps for people to water flowers in the grave yard; I was wondering if the churches might also have toilets for needy cyclists to use?
