Well, I have an induction today 'down the hospice' for volunteering at their latest shop (still to open).

'Problem is, I've been up all night and had a few beers.

The guy taking us (ooh err!) seems a little intense, so... Umm... Wish me luck! 🤣

Sunny here but it looks like we had some rain in the night.
I have put our waste and recycling bins out.
I'm using our laptop at the moment as I still have a problem with my tablet. It is strange as after a while the keyboard will appear.

Good morning from a partly cloudy Suffolk. Coffee has been had and rail tickets for an outing in late June have been purchased.

As today is supposed to be the last of the unusually warm days for a bit, I think I'm going to load a bike into the car and head off to Cambridge for my personal 50k+ monthly ride outside Suffolk challenge ride.

Grrr.

MrsF has been moaning one of her sewing machines isn't winding the bobbins. I know nothing about them, but I've replaced a motor on one of her freehand quilting machines - it's like bikes in our house, she has more machines than I have bikes, and some are DI2 - i.e. electronic computers with touch screens.

Anyway, I've just removed half a million screws to undo the covers and, as I'm moving the machine, I 'pull' on the big wheel, and it moved to a different 'position'. Call MrsF over, why does it do this ?. Oh.... she then realises that machine needs the main wheel pulling out to engage the drive for the bobbin winder, her other machines don't need this step. She'd 'forgotten'.

So, nothing was wrong with it, and I've half a million screws to put back in.

Said, now repaired, sewing machine is coming camping to Bala with us. Means I can escape on my bike ! Bonus.

Only down side, is I have to leave the 'table system' in the van as she want's to use that for sewing on. Means I'll have the van covered in cotton and fabric bits.

Not sure I have ever seen them this early in the year. Always a great sight.

Morning in the office as I had forgot some printing I needed on Wednesday. Ebike was not coperative in emerging from the bike shed and I endered up dragging it out with the road bike while knocking the dehumidifier over. So what should have been a prompt departure from home was delayed. Lunchtime return home was once again into hoards of green fly.
And forgotten by Ernie this month.
