I kicked off with a couple of mugs of M&S Luxury Gold leaf tea this morning. It has a slightly thin metallic taste so I won't buy another packet. However, the mug of Larozza Super Bar coffee was excellent so I'll have another one.

There's a small puff of white cloud overhead which changes shape every time I look out of the window. Otherwise it's bright and cloud free.

I have had a go on my sax this morning. 8 didn't get on very well so I thought I would have a go my clarinet. It isn't half quiet! I then started thinking about those people in marching bands, you have the quieter musicians at the front with louder instruments blasting into their ears from right behind them. It's a wonder they aren't deaf!

Many musicians will be using ear plugs. Usually rated above 20 dB attenuation. It's actually easier to hear what's going on when it gets properly loud.

Well 6 chickens in Aldi didn't past muster so went for chicken breasts.
Had to try two paper shops before getting required papers

Shopping has been done and a couple of slices of toast and a second coffee are about to be had for lunch.

A load of cycle clothing was washed while I was out and that's on the whirligig to dry. The batteries in the back garden temperature sensor have also been replaced.

All I need to do now is decide where I'm going that avoids Ipswich and the main approach roads due to football.

Postie brought a pack of very long releasable black cable ties which, after I finally detached myself from the paintbrush, I used on the ebike battery/varia mount in pairs in place of the clear non releaseable ones I had fitted earlier in the week.

It's been a lovely warm and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit a bit blustery.

Slept well, but feeling achey and bloated. Ah, the joy... NOT... of being a member of the fairer sex. Had a choresy morning. This included doing a load of laundry, watering all the herb planters (my sage is doing particularly well), taking a bread out of the freezer and dividing up a large chunk of stilton in order to get it into the freezer.

I would suggest you check to see if the pads on the keys might not want replacing.
