trying to motivate myself to go out riding but im not doing very well yet given it looks miserable out and my bad thumb is aching today .

So glad I went for my ride
Three and a half hours of bliss and enjoyment.
Had a short rain shower but otherwise dry but damp underfoot.
First cuppa brewing.

Normal service has been resumed. Back to damp, dreich mornings after a temporary blip of sunshine. Obviously Heaven has now got their Windows 11 upgrade sorted, and their weather system is back up and running again!

Mid-perambulation and breakfast was served on a round plate today, the first time in a while.

There is a Toyota Celica parked in the disabled spot outside. Hardly what a disabled driver would normally drive.

I might go and spectate at a ploughing match later. I better take wellingtons.

After a thorough examination of my physical state today, I have decided floppy is the best way of describing my condition.

Grey and breezy. I'm referring to the weather here.

waiting for a bus,going for an eye test.One and only eye has gone blurry again it was ok in January when i got new specs.Now you are only allowed one free eye test each year.Gov/Nhs guidelines.But mine is being classed as pre cataract treatment.So a freebie.Oh i am pleased.

Good morning from an 8th floor hotel room in grey and damp Leeds. Today's view is of a block of flats under construction and the A58(M).

Just about to head into the city centre for breakfast as I booked room only this time and then possibly food shopping for Sunday's day out if there's time before the train home.

Windy and/or drizzling. The Foxsat minus its hard drive and the dumb twin line strimmer taken to the recycling site. Then Aldi including a centre isle purchase of a new sandwich container for £1.99. A pack of smaller than normal cable F plugs collected from Toolstation, Asda with an unexpected purchase of cheap yoghuts and Waitrose for mobile app cheap milk and cookies - did have their newspaper. Reason for going to Asda was to pick up a non urgent prescription free tube of knee joint cream, having plenty I have bought to use up. No one serving at the pharmacy pre shop and a long queue post shop so that can wait for another time.

Worked out why my thumb is hurting , i was doing a fair bit of pruning last night in the garden cutting foliage and the handle presses on the joint .I do have the same problem with scissors if i do a lot of cutting .
