Slight panic, switched the new PVR on and then no image, sound only. Eventually twigged it was an issue with the TV.
Too much conputer like these days, switch it and switch it back on resolved the matter.

well what a test that was.so the cataract has grown very quickly since January.now he did suggest a trip to the hospital via an appointment to talk to a surgeon.You see,i only have one good eye.so there might be things to consider.but then he suggested a better stronger lens.£210 just change the lens on one side.luckily there is an offer on,yes said me the cynic.£105 plus £20 for glazing to my frame,did i want new frame,this one is new from January.Anyway eye tested with the machine then my request that frame thing and drop lenses in till it is right,and right it is.So this time round no Surgeon no surgery,what a good result.

I must agree, in both cats & dogs. Always feel sad for the brachycephalic dogs we meet on Cassie's walks.

they keep making them thinner & thinner while keeping the price the same or increasing. they used to be good but they barely stay together now because they are so thin. they were good when they first came out years ago

Kitchen floor finished. Hardest job was emptying the fridge freezer to move it as its bloody huge. Tipped the unit and slid cardboard under the legs so it was easy to slide it over the new tiles that were down so MrsF could put down tiles under where the fridge goes. Still can't do much DIY with my hip movement and now the dodge shoulder.

We are about 7 miles away as a crow would fly and can just about see the smoke thankfully no smell but then i think the wind is blowing in our favour

Hopefully it stays that way for you. I remember when Buncefield went up, we heard it, saw the smoke, but otherwise were unaffected.
